Hello, AdkinsIGM, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Copyright release[edit]

Regarding your question at Talk:The Indie Game Magazine:

Wikipedia requires that its content be available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License. If the website owner is happy to release his material under these terms (meaning that it will be freely available for anyone to share and modify), then he needs to contact the permissions team via the instructions at WP:DCM. However, even if the material is released under this license, it is still hopelessly unencyclopedic, being non-neutral and promotional in tone. Proposed deletion of International Indie Games Day[edit]

The article International Indie Games Day has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Conflict of interest[edit]

Hello AdkinsIGM. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
