History

Shiv Shivla Mandir Jagat Colony Khanna was the creation of the mind of Rakesh Kumar Shahi S/o Sh. Hardwari Lal Shahi and Girish Kant Mehta Son of Sh. Balwant Rai Mehta. In 1993 both planed to built a mandir in Jagat Colony. With the help of other residents small donation collection started and it was decided to purchase as land of 2.5 biswas for which an advance was made to the landlord situated in the street between street No. 1 and street No. 2. But the then president Muncipal Committee Khanna Sh. Onkar Rai Mehta suggested to purchase more area land and then present land was purchased with the help of Sh. Onkar Rai Mehta.
