Welcome![edit]

Hello, Agonizing Fury, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up very shortly to answer your questions. Don't be afraid to ask!
If you would like to experiment with Wikipedia, I invite you to do so in my own personal sandbox (just follow the simple rules!) or in the Wikipedia sandbox.
When you contribute on talk pages or in other areas, it is important to sign your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

Again, welcome! — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 21:52, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

signature, etc.[edit]

I also hope you become a regular editor on Wikipedia. If you would like to edit your signature, simply go to your preferences and type the code (or nickname) in the box labeled "nickname". If you want to put code, like a link to your talk page, you need to check the raw signature box. I hope that helps a little bit. — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 22:31, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your talk page boxes[edit]

I will have to politely ask that you do not copy and paste portions of user page/talk page, as I have worked hard on them, and wish to retain them as my own. I suggest that you look around some more, and develop your own features (and remove mine). — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 23:38, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bottesini, I am sorry that you feel that way about your very useful tools. However, the idea of wikipedia is spreading knowledge, and upon posting your tools to your user page you have agreed to license them under the GNU Free Documentation License. That being said, as you have requested the removal nicely, I will remove the majority of the copied tools. I hope you do not mind if I leave the create new message tool until such time as I can come up with my own method of accomplishing the same task. Agonizing Fury 23:54, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I certainly don't disagree with other people using my creations for ideas, and the leave message gizmo box, I could really care less about, but my suggestions are not a tool, but something I personally came up with that applies to my own views. — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 00:13, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, I misunderstood the tone of your message as hostile and appologize if the tone of my message seemed hostile as well. It was only ever my intent to keep the Leave me a message link, however due to the fact that the code you used was a little beyond my wiki knowledge, I had to play with it a little to not have the rest of your work in there. Again I apoligize for misunderstading the tone of your message. Like I said I have a lot to learn on wiki. Agonizing Fury 00:21, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's alright. That's one of the problems you have to work with when communicating in this context. If you feel like it, you can come up with your own suggestions for your talk page. For example, alot of editors prefer to have new messages posted at the top, instead of the bottom, etc. — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 19:08, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
