Notes[edit]

Hi! I had some notes for the draft:

  • Avoid words like "passion for", as those are seen as inherently promotional on Wikipedia due to its prevalence in press releases and other marketing materials. The article must be written neutrally - the draft has some serious issues with tone. I can definitely understand where this is an admirable campaign and where the associated organizations and events are as well (one of my uncles used to work with special needs children and would occasionally help with some Special Olympics stuff), however it still needs to be neutral. I'd follow the writing style that's already in the live article.
  • Make sure that everything is sourced. There's only one source in the article, a primary source, and it's only used once. The article should have multiple sources, especially ones that are independent of the campaign and any person or organization it's affiliated with. The campaign needs to be able to show where it's independently notable outside of the Special Olympics and any notable persons involved.

I hope that this helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:32, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
