Rail-boxes

[edit]

Hi

Good job with the rail platform boxes, I wonder however if the background grey for the Blue Mountains line is too faint, making the yellow blue Mountains text too hard to read? Regards, MrHarper (talk) 01:28, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is is really that important to state all stations or limited stops????Loserman16 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 05:13, 6 November 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Advice

[edit]

Two gentle suggestions. Firstly,

During Trackwork some trains on Platform 1 and Platform 2 will go to Glenfield and Campbelltown via Parramatta as the Western Line between Parramatta and Strathfield have Trackwork.
During Trackwork some trains on Platform 3 will go to Emu Plains as the Western Line between Parramatta and Strathfield have Trackwork.

is bad grammar. It may be better to state:

During trackwork, some trains on platforms 1 and 2 operate to Glenfield and Campbelltown via Parramatta when the Western Line between Parramatta and Strathfield is closed for trackwork.
During trackwork, some trains on platform 3 operate to Emu Plains when the Western Line between Parramatta and Strathfield is close for trackwork.

Second point is that during track-work, anything type of operating pattern/ bus substitution is possible, and adding information about one type of operating pattern during one particular track closure does not seem particularly encyclopedic. Therefore I'm going to revert your edits, feel free to discuss here or on my talk page if you disagree. Best wishes, MrHarper (talk) 10:38, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Timeline of Major Changes to CityRail Timetables since 2000

[edit]

Hello Alex.Mcgregor,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Timeline of Major Changes to CityRail Timetables since 2000 for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Sulfurboy (talk) 07:11, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
