I've put page protection on the article, so you can't revert anymore. There is already an article on the subject. If you can say how yours is different and better than the current article of Asphalt concrete, then I'll unprotect the page. You can also improve the Asphalt concrete article. I am PhD student of road and transportation and I am working on reflective cracking currently. This is very wide field of study and you can not put it just inside the asphalt concrete part or composite pavement but as I did it before you should link these topics to reflective cracking. I even took a picture of reflective cracking myself and I put it in page of reflective cracking. Unfortunately you removed all of the text I've written and the picture. And you reported my editing are disruptive like a vandal people? Reflective cracking is my first cooperation with Wikipedia due to my concern to this topic and I strongly believe that reflective cracking is one of the most important topics of pavement distresses that should discus separately and I will add some extra lines to this topic in one year. If you do not accept my comment as a pavement engineering specialist I just can say I am really sorry for Wikipedia! In addition, you will see some distresses like bleeding in ASPHALT CONCRETE page. Why you did not redirect these topics? Any way I hope you accept my technical point of view and stop behaving me like a vandal just because I insist on what I believe! :( Alireza Alireza.noory (talk) 07:18, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Howdy Alireza. I didn't call you a vandal. You kept on reverting and saying nothing about why. That is called disruptive editing. Protecting the page and leaving a message here was to force you to talk.
Being a specialist is not the issue. The problem is that your article was duplicating alot of another page. Generally when this happens, we either deleted the article or redirect the article. I chose redirection.
I'm not sure if a creating new article or adding to Asphalt concrete is the best option. Your the one who is in the best position to answer that. If the article is going to remain small like it currently is, then adding to Asphalt concrete might be the best option.
I've copied the article to Draft:Reflective crack. You can work on it there without any threats of reverts, deletion or redirection. If you are going to expand on the Draft, give me a message, I can look it over and move the article.
Give a yell anytime if you have any questions. Bgwhite (talk) 07:37, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
