Danko
[edit]Privet Alonka! The reason that I placed "citation" tags in Les_Podervyansky#Danko is that the section does not cite any external sources for any of the claims made regarding either Danko or Gorky's work on which it is alegedly based. I did a quick search on google for "Les Podervyansky Danko" and came up with nothing except copies of the wiki article. If you can quote some external sources (don't need to be on the web, could be respected reference books), it would give the section some authority. Nice to meet you Timberframe! Thank you for keeping your eye on the article. I mean it. Though it is difficult to find any external sources for this very citation - there is no as many publication on the issue as it is supposed to be placed. Or it would be proper, I guess. in addition I found: http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%94%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%BA%D0%BE http://books.rusf.ru/unzip/add-on/xussr_gk/gorkim12.htm?1/1 http://zvann.narod.ru/a8.html http://www.gothic.ru/se/news/index.php?action=show&nid=2307
and here is a serious article from 'Zerkalo nedely' where Danko is mentioned http://www.zn.ua/3000/3680/54022/ If it is not enough than maybe you should erase my section - that is ok.
Though I just wrote this section regarding the privious one - with no citations at all. would you tell me, why you did not place "citation" tags in Les_Podervyansky#Pizdets? what is the difference with my part? (I put in two citations at least and in Pizdets there is only one) 22 October
- Privet snova! Thanks for that info, it's great to be able to work with you. The ciatation tags aren't meant as criticism, but as a invitation to an active user who may be able to help improve the article. I'll have a look at the sources you mention, it will take me some time, but I need to practice reading po ruskii! Poka! -- Timberframe (talk) 21:16, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
Privet)
I did not even expect such a prompt reply, thank you!
Don't you really read Russian fluently? Than I can understand some difficulties for you when conceiving this author role in post-modern Ukrainian and Russian culture and link absence concerning this role. His contribution into the world cultural treasury can't be underestimated. His absurd plays contain irony and grotesque similar to Beckett's writings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Beckett). But all serious research on Podervianky's works is not placed in the Internet, it is kept either in the scientific acadamic editions or... in people's home recordings. Such a paradox. No middle position, no oficial recognition or titles. I do not mean his painting, only writing. As for his pictures they are kept in art galleries and museums all over the world, in Germany and the USA. I hope to finish my research on his plays, vocabulary and discours some day - then maybe some links will be available then.
Thank you once again and let me say that working with you is real pleasure and I will do my best to help to improve the articles in Wiki now and further on.
Yours sincerely:)
