JVM artifacts moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, JVM artifacts, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice

The article Python practice has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to violate WP:NOTTEXTBOOK. "Wikipedia is an encyclopedic reference, not a textbook. The purpose of Wikipedia is to present facts, not to teach subject matter. Articles should not read like textbooks, with leading questions and systematic problem solutions as examples."

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. –Novem Linguae (talk) 08:04, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively, you may add {{Db-u1}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline. Thank you. Twassman | Talk | Contribs 20:31, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:NOTTEXTBOOK, the article will probably be deleted. However, the article would be suitable for other projects such as Wikibooks, Wikisource, and Wikiversity. I would suggest creating pages like these on those wikis instead. Thanks. ~ Ase1estecharge-paritytime 13:01, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributions

[edit]

Hello, I noticed your contributions and would like to let you know that they are not quite suited for Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a textbook, and while your contributions could be helpful, they would be more useful on another WMF project, such as Wikiversity. Please read WP:NOTTEXTBOOK, and try to ensure that your contributions are appropriate. Thank you, Twassman | Talk | Contribs 20:49, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
