Hello, SamX! First off, thank you for replying to me. However, I and many other Egyptians know very well that Egyptian Arabic is a group of Arabic varieties rather than a single Arabic dialect. It has wide variation from Alexandria to Port Said to Damietta and to the farmers. Grammatical differences are sometimes big and sometimes small. I am saying this as an Egyptian myself.

These dialects have not been studied so virtually no resources or papers exists on them. The only way of even knowing that Egyptian Arabic is a group of Arabic dialects is by learning Egyptian Arabic and going on Facebook or by going to poor areas in Egyptian cities. That’s why I am not able of providing sources for my claims. I also edited this article to also try to bring attention to these dialects as they are endangered. Very endangered. I hope you understand.

Thanks for replying. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is only able to summarize what's already been published in independent, reliable sources. If no such sources exist for a specific topic or assertion, Wikipedia can't cover it. An unfortunate consequence of this is that topics that historically haven't received attention by Western academics usually don't receive as much coverage on Wikipedia—see Wikipedia:Systemic bias for more information.

If you can find reliable sources to support you assertions, I encourage you to add them—see Help:Referencing for beginners for more information on how to do so. The sources that you cite don't have to be available online or written in English to satisfy Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If the information isn't documented anywhere, it unfortunately isn't suitable for Wikipedia, as including it would violate Wikipedia's policy against publishing original research. In that case, a better way for you to make this information available would be to get it published somewhere else. I'd be happy to answer any other questions you might have, but you'd likely get a faster response from more editors if you ask them at the Teahouse, which is a forum specifically dedicated to answering questions from new editors. I'm here after seeing your post on Reddit about having your edits at Egyptian Arabic reverted. There actually are in fact quite a lot of reliable sources on the dialects of Egypt, both by Egyptian scholars & by foreign scholars. Khawlan

This group of languages is speculated to be descendants of the ancient South Arabian Himyarite or Sayhardic languages. However, they have been greatly influenced by Arabic. Examples of these languages are: Faifi, Razihi and Rijal Alma’
