You need to remove the links you've just added
[edit]You may not realise that this is unacceptable, but you are clearly spamming Grove Atlantic sales pages, and it appears that you also have a serious conflict of interest - see WP:COI. Rather than block you immediately I'm giving you the chance to show good faith and remove the links. Dougweller (talk) 17:35, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
I understand that Wikipedia shouldn't be used for advertisement but we would like some sort of link to Grove/Atlantic on the Wikipages of appropriate books that are published here. I linked to the book pages on the Grove Atlantic site which are mainly information pages about the book and it also links to other books by the author that interested readers might also enjoy. Is there a better way I can go about doing this that won't directly interfere with Wikipedia policy? Am.entrekin (talk) 18:00, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
For example this is a reading guide for This Boy's Life which provides questions for discussion for readers who enjoyed the book http://www.groveatlantic.com/#page=isbn9780802136688-readers. We don't directly sell from the site or get advertisement revenue. We do link to book stores that sell the books but that isn't the main purpose of the site. The main purpose of the book pages is to supply potential readers information about the books and their authors. Am.entrekin (talk) 18:15, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
