I think the new paragraph does a nice job of condensing the extremely complicated history of the civil war and genocide. It seems to me that the new paragraph ends abruptly without bringing the reader to the present day. I think it would be worthwhile to tack on a sentence or two about the post-genocide improvements, particularly regarding tourism and/or the international communities that the nation joined. --Cryptic C62 · Talk 23:58, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, how is it now? The final paragraph is now somewhat larger than the others - 9 lines at the resolution I'm currently using, rather than 6 or 7, but guess that's tolerable given the amount of essential information that has to go into it.  — Amakuru (talk) 08:48, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
