Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did to MBC Action, makes it harder to read. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Anas talk? 14:20, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use styles that are unusual or difficult to understand in articles, as you did to MBC Action. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. The content you are adding is not encyclopedic. Anas talk? 10:43, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on [[:{{{1}}}]], requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on [[Talk:{{{1}}}|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Concerning the Etisalat Page. I'm also wondering, are you the same "Amr El Adaway" as stated below?

"Amr El Adaway

Enterprise Application Software Engineer (www.etisalat.com.eg)

Etisalat Misr (Third Mobile Operator in Egypt)" (1)

Or it's just a conincendence??

I believe I'm done here. No offense, I'm just checking. Thanks a lot. --Moo7a 04:06, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Etisalat Egypt

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Etisalat Egypt, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Phgao 17:19, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well Amr, I'm glad you finally showed up so we can discuss such issues. First of all I'd like to thank people like you for their contribution at the wiki. Needless to say that finding Egyptians like you discussing and creating pages really makes me happy. Believe me 3 yrs ago, I thought I was alone. anyways, pulling back to our original subject. Please note the following.

I've followed a certain protocol inorder to express my point of view. I placed note "the article may contain spam" on Etislat Page. Then I opened a discussion. 2 or 3 agreed with me. So I placed a friendly warning on ur user page. After 3 to 4 days there was no response. So I placed the "Request for speed deletion" on ur page and on Etisalat Article. This means that I havent delete the page yet, any wikipedian (either you the creator or any other one) who sees that the page shouldnt be deleted can simply add the tag (hangon) stating his reasons. but still no1 responded which means that everyone agreed. This process took about 20 whole days (from 15 August till 5 September)!! which is really fair and enough time for a hangon. after this, Bots and Admins Phillipe, Resolute and Stiffle totally agreed. So dont blame me, the page deserved it. Still not convinced? --Moo7a 11:47, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Samrt Village Egypt

[edit]

The article Samrt Village Egypt has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 20:42, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
