I edited your comments

[edit]

Hello User:Anachron~enwiki, I edited your instructions at the top of Wikipedia:WikiProject Cycling#Participants. The main change is to more strongly encourage project members to place {{WikiProject Cycling}} on their user pages, because that will automatically categorize them into Category:WikiProject Cycling members, thereby reducing the chance of someone who is already a project member receiving an unneeded greeting from another project member who is on a recruiting drive. Since I edited your instructions, I removed your signature, so it would not appear I was distorting your words. In any case, the wikigods tell us not to sign our work on non-talk pages (WP:SIG#When signatures should be used). --Teratornis 19:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:BOB trailer.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BOB trailer.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -SCEhardT 13:51, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:BAW-trailer-loaded.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
