Fleur Adcock[edit]

Hi Andrew, thank you for your message and welcome to Wikipedia. The best way to discuss the rationale for article changes is to mention them on the article talk page. That way we know exactly what the problem / suggestion is. I am not 'insisting' on any formulation of the article on Fleur Adcock. We mention her birth name, which is pretty standard for WP biographies. The page does not mention that she changed her name by deed poll. I have altered the article as the biog detail is unreferenced anyway. We aim for all biographies of living people to be fully referenced. If you have any strong sources that we can give as citations, I am happy to add in new information. Are you ok with Kareen Fleur Adcock being mentioned as her birth name? Sorry, I have only just seen your message! Kareen Fleur Adcock was indeed my mother's birth name, but she hates the name Kareen and eventually changed her name by deed poll to Fleur Adcock.
