Wiki links to commonly known places[edit]

Hello and thank you for your contributions. I noticed that you have been adding wiki links for commonly known countries, such as Italy and United States. Please note that such links are discouraged per MOS:OVERLINK. Also Wikipedia's manual of style says to abbreviate United States as US (preferred) or U.S. (if it is already in use), but not USA. • Gene93k (talk) 03:57, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
