Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Independent adoption. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Status and Advice

yes, it might be appropriate for Wikipedia to have an article on the subject—but the one you inserted was almost entirely copied with very minimal changes from another website. This is not permitted--sites on the web are copyright, unless stated otherwise, and in fact this particular site states its copyright it very clearly at the top of the page. If you want to write an try again, and there is no reason why you shouldn't, see our guide to writing Wikipedia articles.
