Hi Angelo, I notice you nominated Trailfinders for speedy deletion. You are quite right about the lack of sources, but you need to find out about how Wikipedia handles deletion. An article is normally deleted if the subject is not notable. There are three routes to deletion:

  1. Speedy deletion which is only for uncontroversial deletions. There is nothing in the article that indicates it could be notable.
  2. Proposed deletion similar to speedy deletion, but where there is a possibility that the subject could be notable. Seven days notice is given for notability to be established.
  3. Articles for deletion where the article is actively discussed to determine whether it actually is notable.

I see you used a template to notify The Rambling Man about the nomination for CSD. You may want to look at what that template produces and consider whether it is an appropriate method of notifying an editor who is a bureaucrat with over 60,000 edits in the last five years. There's an essay entitled Don't template the regulars that gives some good guidance. Hope all of this helps. --RexxS (talk) 04:03, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:23, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
