A student's recent edits

[edit]

Hi Leah,

I just wanted to make you aware of something before it ends up impacting your student negatively. As they are working on live Wikipedia, any edits they make to articles that are not Drafts or in their userspace are subject to the same policies we apply to any other edits. Your student Hobartsquash recently made two edits to Boyz n the Hood, both of which were quickly reverted (by me and someone else) because they introduced biased, non-neutral language. It seems they may not have a good understanding of what a neutral point of view looks like, so they may need some coaching on that. It's also important for them to understand that any facts or claims they add to an article need to be verifiable, accompanied by proper source citations. — Garrett W. { } 03:44, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the heads up I will contact the student today! 64.246.234.100 (talk) 10:07, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
