I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Park Place Tower (Chicago), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I've removed the tag following your explanation on the talkpage and tidied the article up a little. The details about the amenities seemed more like advertising than notable encyclopedic content so I've taken most of them out- try to stick to important features... I added some more info, but I believe I kept to the spirit of what you were trying to do. This is my first wikipedia page, so my apologies if I screw something up. I very much appreciate your detailed feedback...it's a lot easier to create stuff when I get specific feedback on what I did wrong.

Why were the names of the developer/architect, etc. removed? Wouldn't you want factual data like that in an encyclopedia entry? I can understand removing things that seem to pump up their image, but straight-up, from public filings, data?
