Opus Dei

[edit]

Ansolin, I didn't remove the POV tag from this page-- I've added it back several times. After you added it, an IP user removed it. I added it back, and then Ndss removed it again. --Alecmconroy 22:10, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I have joined the mediation. I welcome your contributions to the discussion. Pvazz 07:55, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your encouragement. Yeah, my last bit may have put some people off more than I would have liked, but perhaps it may yet find reconcilliation. It was the only thing I could think of that might help end the dispute short of mediation. --Alecmconroy 01:57, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Answers to questions

[edit]

Hiya Ansolin-- happy to help out. As to why Wikipedia:Sandbox keep resetting?-- It'll do that, so don't use the Wikipedia sandbox for anything you want to save. If you want to work on something, you should create a new page in your own user space. So, to create a page in your user space called "Sandbox", just go to User:Ansolin/Status of religious freedom in Canada. It'll tell you the page doesn't exist and ask if you want to start it. Click on that, and you'll get a blank page you can edit. And it doesn't have to be called Sandbox. You can go to User:Ansolin/anythingatall and it'll do the same thing.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have more queries. :) --Alecmconroy 16:57, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Glanced at your re-write of Religious freedom in Canada

[edit]

Looks good, but may be it is interesting to write that the Raelians fled from France to Quebec. Source (I think) is an article by Susan Palmer if I remember in the book NRMs in the 21st century edited by eehhh I forgot. Andries 18:24, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ok, see the main article talk page for my suggested re-write. thanks.

OK, I moved it as per your suggestion. I've got to log off for tonight. Let me know what your comments are. If we post a new version, we'll archive the entire talk page into a subpage.

I like the general direction of your rewrite. I would run it through a spell-check though. ;) Ifnord 20:11, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I honestly suggest you check out Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Status of religious freedom in Canada and take those ideas in mind if you want to save the article. Ardenn 02:54, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, like the user Usgnus, who said it was basically fine except for some editing. Wikipedia is not a democracy, thankfully, as there are many left-leaning Canadian wikipedians in the mix. So stick to your own thoughts that you believe are important, present them neutrally, and don't get bullied by anyone else (including me, of course). Deet 20:22, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No offense intended

[edit]

Let's work this out now. No problem with my willingness to compromise. OK? Deet 02:21, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I will take out Haskett in deference to you. OK? Deet 02:27, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Opus Dei

[edit]

Nah, I know you meant no harm. I just wanted to say it before the mediator did. --Alecmconroy 05:14, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ansolin-- a while ago you mentioned that Opus Dei has 27 subpages. So far, I'm only able to find 17 on my list here. Can you point me to some of the ones I'm missing? --Alecmconroy 04:20, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to show the page to some folks whos opinion's I'd like and see if they agree that the page is fine as is. If they agree that, I'll probably drop it and just assume that I'm somehow dead wrong on this issue. If a significant chunk of folks seem disagree, then maybe it's worth putting some more time into. --Alecmconroy 05:13, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
