If you'd like to continue editing at Wikipedia I'd encourage you to read the site's guidelines, particularly those pertaining to school articles, WP:ADVERT, WP:COI and WP:SPA. I'm not sure why providing historical information of the school (St. Mary, St. Vincent, and then the merge to St. Vincent-St. Mary) is considered trying to promote the school? I am new to Wikipedia and don't fully understand all of the guidelines in editing pages - I am trying to read and gain a better understanding on what is appropriate on here and what is not. I understand now that school/entity mission statements are not appropriate/unbiased because the essence of their statement are promotional and can be argued against. If I were to add the history of the three schools, how would one go about doing it legally under Wikipedia's guidelines? Thanks for anyone's help on this matter.
