Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Jamshid Momtaz. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you.Carlosguitar 02:01, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Ardechir, it is not clear to me why you decided to change "Momtaz ad-Dauleh" into "Momtaz Dowleh" in the above-mentioned entry (it is somewhat surreal to discover that according to the previous message on this page, you must have been making some unwelcome changes in the entry of "Jamshid Momtaz"). Be it as it may, I have reverted your change, however included the names in Persian so that all can see that the name in question is indeed "Momtaz ad-Dauleh". May I request you that when in future you introduce changes in Wikpedia entries, you kindly take account of some related aspects in the same entry? In the case at hand, there are several "Dauleh"'s in the same sentence; it seems strange that you decided to change only one of them, thus rendering the text unbalanced. Secondly, if you had cared to consult the reference from which the names have been taken (the relevant reference is clearly cited), you would have noticed that the name at issue is truly "Momtaz ad-Dauleh" and not "Momtaz Dauleh", or if you so wish, "Momtaz Dowleh". For completeness, the transliteration "Douleh", as opposed to "Dowleh", coincides with that adopted by Nikki Keddie in her book "Modern Iran" (Yale University Press, 2003) --- cited in the biography of Mirza Jahangir Khan. To summarise, your rather hasty change in the above-mention entry resembles vandalism. Please forgive me for this harsh judgement, but your very small, but inappropriate, change has cost me some time (including the time required to write this text) which I could have spent on something useful. Kind regards, --BF 14:10, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ali Khan Vali is largely your creation. The article Chris Steele-Perkins is largely my creation. You don't have to take my word for anything I write in the latter: it's all sourced. Why should I believe what's written in Ali Khan Vali? Within the article, please explain where the information comes from. Thank you. -- Hoary (talk) 11:48, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
