Request reason:

Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. in Iran we have to use VPN to access to wikimedia. Ariaamiri (talk) 20:27, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I have granted you IP Block Exempt; you should be able to edit normally now. Ks0stm (TCGE) 22:07, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

IP block exempt[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this userright to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Ks0stm (TCGE) 22:07, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

IPBE expiring - March 2019[edit]

Hello Ariaamiri, I'm working on some routine cleanup and see you have not made use of the ip block exemption flag on your account for over a year. This will be removed in about a week, unless you reply below that you still have a need for this flag. This will have no impact on your ability to read Wikipedia. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 12:49, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. As your account has been inactive for a year and there was no reply above, this flag has been removed. This will have no impact on general editing, however if you are trying to edit from certain blocked IP addresses you may need to move to another address or request a new exemption. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 20:55, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello xaosflux and sry, I cant talk very well in english. I did'nt pay attention to texts above. In my country, we must use proxsies sometimes, I think it's the reason of IP block. I mostly edit on FA.Wiki, not EN.Wiki (maybe minor edits on EN.Wiki). if I need to prepare any exemptions please help me to do. thank you so much.Ariaamiri (talk) 10:07, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Ariaamiri: this setting is only about the English Wikipedia. It looks like you are editing OK again now without the extra setting. If you get stuck in the future, leave me a note here or at meta and I can help. Best regards, — xaosflux Talk 12:35, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
