Batman[edit]

Well I've seen you and a laptop decal of Batman in the same room... so you're standing on shaky ground there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jsmerf (talkcontribs) 21:56, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback[edit]

I think it would be useful to attribute the sources more clearly. Say that it's a report produced by the Sentencing Project (and make sure you include the wikilink) - that way it's clear where it came from. Make it clear that you're talking about the US - if you have sources for countries other than the US, do include them for completeness, but if you don't make sure people know what country you're talking about. And one minor formatting thing - the section headers shouldn't be capitalized except for proper nouns - "Portrayal of African American suspects" not "Portrayal of African American Suspects".

Is this supposed to be a stand-alone article, or do you plan to add it to an existing article? Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:31, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Racial Bias In Criminal News[edit]

So I figured out what was wrong. Although you created a new sidebar for your page, Template:Racial Bias In Criminal News, you left the |name = parameter equal to Race. So when you clicked on the edit link on the template on your article, you were editing Template:Race instead of your new template.

Now, when I updated that link on the template, that still didn't fix things on the article, because the article was using a cached version of the template (for me at least). So I would recommend you use this link the next time you visit the article, to make sure you're editing the updated template [1] Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:08, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
