I am a biographer with a local news entity and am trying to properly edit this material, it will all be sourced after i write all the proper content and edit it, please stop revising and editing my works, it has taken weeks to do!!! Arthurjwilliamsjr (talk) 23:00, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't believe you as your latest edit was copyright infringement of a Gizmodo article with content that was copy and pasted directly. Please consider this your final warning: if you continue your disruptive editing, you will be blocked. Uhai (talk) 23:11, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that gizmodo article was cited FOUR times!!!!! it's even formatted as a BLOCK QUOTE to directly quote from it!!! if you've read the article than you'd understand, that article was sourced and cited multiple times within the text as a reference!!!!! Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for copyright violation and using a sock account to edit-war, as you did at Arthur J. Williams Jr..
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Abecedare (talk) 23:52, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

information Administrator note Since you are a new account, I'd be open to unblocking you if you can convincingly affirm that you will henceforth follow all relevant wikipedia policies (including WP:COPYVIO, WP:SOCK, WP:COI) and use the article talkpage to propose and discuss any future improvements to the article. Abecedare (talk) 00:00, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have not done anything wrong, i have legitimately followed all policies and have cited and referecnced to articles multiple times that i was accused of plagerizing, which isn't the case!!! i have legitimately been working to write the bios for 4 different artists of note and this is my first one, i've been trying to understand how all the formatting works and have constantly been trying to figure things out by publishing things frequently to learn how it all works, please unblock and allow me to do my work!! Arthurjwilliamsjr (talk) 03:51, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, an unblock is not possible till you understand how your edits indeed violated wikipedia's copyright policies. To give a specific example: your edit (which has since been deleted) copied the following paragraph in toto from the Gizmodo article.
The most important part, it turns out, was finding the right kind of paper... He just needed to find a starch-free substitute.
Secondly you'll need to explain the use of the Dominicn123 (talk · contribs) account. Again I urge you to read the policies I linked above because without recognizing what you did wrong there is no chance of an unblock. Abecedare (talk) 04:26, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And since no one else has mentioned it, your account name is itself a problem. Wikipedia does not allow account names to be the same as a notable person, unless they are that person in real life and can provide proof of identity. Therefore, since you are not Arthur J. Williams Jr., your account name violates Wikipedia's username policy and is considered to be impersonation. In addition to everything previously mentioned, you will have to request a change of username before you will be allowed to continue editing here. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 00:39, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
