Welcome![edit]

Hello, Arulns, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Also, I wanted to let you know that I have reverted some of your changes regarding dates. Wikipedia does not have a preferred style for dates (BC vs BCE, etc.) and repeatedly switching articles from one style to another is generally considered disruptive editing. Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers says, "Do not change the established era style in an article unless there are reasons specific to its content. Seek consensus on the talk page before making the change. Open the discussion under a subhead that uses the word "era". Briefly state why the style is inappropriate for the article in question. A personal or categorical preference for one era style over the other is not justification for making a change." Editors who do not follow these instructions have been blocked from editing, so please take them seriously. Thank you. Deli nk (talk) 13:48, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
