Climate images[edit]

Hello. Please reconsider the inclusion of the climate images in the Cairns, Queensland and Townsville, Queensland articles. The images are very large, difficult to read due to poor resolution. In the case of the Townsville one, it also appears to interfere with the text. If you still feel that they should be included, then perhaps it would be appropriate to discuss this on the talk pages. Thanks. -- Adz|talk 04:33, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Probably, when I had been looking for an articles in this journal, probably an older issue, I had difficulties, finding out, what this for a journal, where to get it from, whether it is still published, and by whom and so on. Since I do not know any general source for such information, and since I regard the wikipedia as a kind of universal encyclopedia where practically information about all things in the world and beyond are being collected, so that one can resort to it at least for a link to further information, I entered the information obtained about this and other things through probably many hours long searches to it. I think, it can help many scientists and students to save considerable amounts of precious time ...

Proposed deletion of Argadorian Calendar[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Argadorian Calendar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable original research

Please do not remove the afd notice at the top of the article. It does not halt the AFD discussion, and it means that readers of the article are not aware of the deletion discussion and do not contribute to it. Brianyoumans (talk) 15:16, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Argadorian Calendar[edit]

A tag has been placed on Argadorian Calendar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you.
