Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Volunteerism do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 15:33, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While I am sure your intentions are good, you have made a couple of mistakes... please don't let this stop you from contributing! We need good editors. However, your username is the same as [1] and this might make it seem that you were representing the organization. It would be perhaps best to have the name changed. An administrator can help you with that. Also, you are inserting links to the organization in places that make it seem like advertising. You will need to show how the article is improved by its addition. I am adding a block of links below which, while a bit dated, I have found useful, showing where to go to find rules, guidelines, and informtion... and to get help. :) All the best, and welcome again!sinneed (talk) 15:46, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Erk, well, I hope you will create a new account, with a less-problematic username, and STILL join us and contribute to Wikipedia. All the best, and sorry your 1st effort ran afoul of some of our important but restricting rules. sinneed (talk) 15:49, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
