Feminine Psychology Peer Review[edit]

This is Erica L from your ENGL 201A class and I just read over your article in progress about feminine psychology, or at least I'm hoping it's your article. Here's some things I noticed! Starting with your first section, I agree with your mentioning of the male domination of psychology and how many of their claims and studies simply have no ground to stand on; men cannot make statements about the mind of a woman when they do not have it. I would love to eventually see a section describing the consideration of women's social existence and what roles it plays in psychology. Along those lines, I was also intrigued by the statement about Gilligan's research and some more info on that could be very relevant. In regards to the motherhood and career section, it would be awesome to see some evidence and research produced by specifically female psychologists. This aspect of life has been very defining for women for a very long time and seeing it explained and contradicted with other points of view could be very beneficial to your article. Possibly rather than the statistics of men who feel like they're missing out on their kids' lives, maybe show the evolution of the priorities of adult women and how it relates to the specific female psychology. I read the talk page and saw what has and is being discussed about your article and agree with many of the suggestions made there. It is shaping up to be a great article and I hope this peer review helps you produce the best article possible! Ericalopeman (talk) 00:35, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
