I deleted your recent article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts or show that it meets the notability guidelines for companies.
  • It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. The following claims were stated as fact without supporting in-line references. helping client companies develop and maximize value... well-established... connects business and expertise... worldwide... The Innovation Prize of Ecole Polytechnique was handed over to PRESANS... original and very powerful approach... currently best-seller in its category... Unlike other intermediaries... among over one million experts... all over Europe...
  • Spam links to sales site like Amazon.

The other articles aren't quite as bad as this, I'll have a look tomorrow so see if they meet the speedy deletion criteria Jimfbleak - talk to me? 18:12, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The new draft is still problematic. The only mention of the location is in the infobox, nothing on number of employees, turnover, profit etc. It reads like a platform for promoting the product, rather than telling us anything about the company, other than how marvellous it is. The history is a puff for what the company does, nothing to do with its history. ...connects business and expertise by organizing worldwide call for expertise and problem solving competitions in various domains for its clients is presented as a historical fact rather than a company aim

  • the father of open innovation, spammy just his name will do
  • Multistep Dynamic Expert Sourcing entirely unsourced
  • Client is unsourced spam, no names of clients, let alone verifiable references.
  • works with clients all over Europe unsourced spammy claim
  • Clients include mostly large organizations, universities and research organizations. again unsourced spam, no names, no verifiable references.

If you don't get decent coverage on Google, then notability will be a struggle, but the converse isn't true because a search engine isn't RS. Some of my Wikipedia articles come up as top Google search result, but that make me a world authority on, say, the Ruff.

I've tweaked the text a bit, mainly typos/MoS stuff, but I changed the spelling of "defense" because AE looks odd in a European article. However, I accept that France isn't English-speaking, so reinstate the AE version if you wish.

The structure is better, although the third heading falls some way short of snappy and seems to have some unnecessary capitalisation. Can you come up with a proper heading?

  • About the company.
    • As can be gathered from their website Don't say this, use the website as a proper ref for uncontroversial stuff.
    • PRESANS connects business and expertise by organizing worldwide call — stating as a fact looks spammy, claims to would be better
    • If you can't get financial data, what about number of staff? As far as the article goes, this could be one man with a phone and computer.
  • History — the negative final sentence is good, gives some balance, but the second half of the para could do with referencing

Clients include mostly large organizations, universities and research organizations (Ecole Polytechnique, CNRS).

  • Approach of expert sourcing based on Information Retrieval — yuk

As described in the book‚ A Guide to Open Innovation and Crowdsourcing, foreworded by Henry Chesbrough, PRESANS focuses on Expert Sourcing, rather than on crowdsourcing. For this purpose they have developed the approach called the Multistep Dynamic Expert Sourcing (MDES)[1].

    • According to the book and the publication referenced format as a reference
    • MDES relies on a combination between a web-mining technology, and a multistep problem solving process. In this approach, experts do not register, instead, the various digital tracks they leave on the web allow to detect and to invite them on-demand to tackle challenging technological problems. anything that can be wikilinked or referenced?

It's getting better, but my feeling is that it's still a bit light on content about the company and you can never have too many refs. You could throw it to the wolves, but I think it needs a bit more to be sure to avoid AfD Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:03, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What I meant is that if you are referring to the book as a reference, format the book as a reference (you don't need to have a url to follow, just the book details eg Bowes, Bill (1949). Express Deliveries. London: Stanley Paul. pp. 34–27.
