Error message

[edit]

@Awesome Aasim: When I opened the page (in Beta mode) I got this error: in line 554: Uncaught TypeError: cannot read property 'includes' of undefined Qwerfjkl  (please use {{reply to|Qwerfjkl}} on reply) 20:30, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Qwerfjkl I am not working on any beta or anything like that at the moment. You should turn it off for now.
Have you experienced this problem multiple times? Aasim (talk) 22:50, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It happens every time I load the Special page, thanks! ― Qwerfjkl  (please use {{reply to|Qwerfjkl}} on reply) 16:04, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Try blanking Special:MyPage/AERpreferences.json. Aasim (talk) 06:01, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Awesome Aasim: It will not allow me to publish a blank page. ― Qwerfjkl  (please use {{reply to|Qwerfjkl}} on reply) 06:39, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Qwerfjkl: Oh yeah; I forgot JSON stuff needs to have a JSON object. Try replacing the contents of everything with {}. Maybe that does the trick? Aasim (talk) 06:47, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Awesome Aasim: The page automatically reverts. ― Qwerfjkl  (please use {{reply to|Qwerfjkl}} on reply) 06:50, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Qwerfjkl Can I see your browser information? It can also be possible that another script you are using is acting up, or that you added multiple instances of the script code into your personal JS. Aasim (talk) 06:55, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It may also be helpful to post a screencast - you can simply do this on Google Drive or OneDrive and share the link. Aasim (talk) 06:56, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The edit summery says: '
Loading preferences for AER tool' ― Qwerfjkl  (please use {{reply to|Qwerfjkl}} on reply) 06:59, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Awesome Aasim: I also don't have multiple instances of the script. ― Qwerfjkl  (please use {{reply to|Qwerfjkl}} on reply) 07:03, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm... are you still unable to load the tool?
I would like to know what browser you are using. I am not having any problems on the Edge Chromium browser. I also tested my script on Safari a year ago when I had iPhone and Edge Chromium on my Android. Aasim (talk) 07:09, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Awesome Aasim: I can load the tool and use it, I was just confused about the Javascript error. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression. ― Qwerfjkl  (please use {{reply to|Qwerfjkl}} on reply) 07:13, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Then it probably is not something I need to worry about. Unless if the tool is broken, I do not see a need to update the script. My offline world is already really busy; I do not have time to investigate why I am getting an error or two somewhere. Aasim (talk) 19:18, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
