[edit]

Dear B1958B, please cite reliable sources when editing Wikipedia articles and please take not of the rules: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources Thanks. Zamekrizeni (talk) 15:12, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You also deleted great resources that I added. Please leave them in there. B1958B (talk) 15:18, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Source 16 you can read in the article about the use of the Italian young players. It can't be more clear than that B1958B (talk) 15:20, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted my edit which tidied up the article and deleted unsourced content. As you did not explain your move I reverted it again.
You’re right, the sentence about the young Italian players is back in. But there is still much unsourced content like “with the lowest budget in the Slovak Basketball League“, “In his first year as a head coach in the EasyCredit BBL, Roijakkers was voted 2nd in the Coach of the Year election behind Saša Obradović. He kept [[BG Göttingen with one of the lowest budgets every season in the EasyCredit BBL.“, “In the Basketball Champions League he is still the only coach undefeated in the first group stage (6-0) and he set the record for most made 3s in a single game (21 made 3s on 58% vs Casademont Zaragoza, 23/03/2021, 117 - 76“. Please respect the need to give reliable sources. And please don’t delete sourced content like you did ("On April 14, 2022, Pallacanestro Varese fired him for actions "not in line with the club's values“) and please don’t revert complete edits if you want to change only a part the article. Thank you. --Zamekrizeni (talk) 15:32, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I will add more sources, no problem. B1958B (talk) 15:35, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2nd in Coach of the Year B1958B (talk) 15:44, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I made this page very nice with a ton more sources. You can focus on the German, not a problem, my German is not as good as your ofcourse. But I can do this English one very well ! B1958B (talk) 15:45, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, the additional source has been added to the article. However, I deleted the content which still lacking sources (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources) and corrected spelling as well as grammar. Zamekrizeni (talk) 15:59, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Why did you revert the edit again? Zamekrizeni (talk) 16:10, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Everything in there is spot on and with sources. You don't have to change it back again. You can do the German page, I will focus on this English one and other basketball pages in English. I will stay away from the German once that you all reverted today. B1958B (talk) 16:11, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. As I showed earlier there are important sources missing in that article. And that has nothing to do with a German wikipedia article on the same person. As long as you are adding unsourced content it will be reverted, not necessarily by myself. If you don't respect the wikipedia rules on reliable sources or others you may be blocked from editing. Zamekrizeni (talk) 16:21, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have added more sources than you did on the German one, so I don't see the problem. You keep adding also a false source at the end. B1958B (talk) 16:44, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Again, the English version of the article has nothing to do with a version in another language which may exist. Which is the "false source", please, and why is it false? Zamekrizeni (talk) 16:51, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The source you add about the release of Roijakkers. As you can read in my last source, the release from the coach had to be taken back and was solved in a friendly way between the parties. Decided by Italian court/arbitration. All in the last source. B1958B (talk) 16:59, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But that does not mean that is a false source as you put it. And that does not change the fact that the club initially took that decision as it is stated in the press release. So it should be included in the article to show the development of that case which then ended in an agreement between the club and the coach. As a consequence, it is absolutely justified to include both press releases and sources, about the initial decision of the club and the settlement.Zamekrizeni (talk) 17:06, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I added the settlement etc. in order to document how the case developed. Zamekrizeni (talk) 17:22, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes this makes sense now. At the end this is the same :).
Can you also add it than in the German one ? B1958B (talk) 17:24, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I will do. Zamekrizeni (talk) 17:25, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But I still don't understand why you changed the name of the league for example. German Bundesliga is called EasyCredit BBL B1958B (talk) 17:27, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also what I had before: 'where he won right away the national title with the lowest budget in the Slovakian ExtraLiga' Is all named in the Slovakian article ! B1958B (talk) 17:28, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also the article from La Gazzetta dello Sport is fully with a source and you delete this again. B1958B (talk) 17:29, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, it is not in the Slovakian article, I went through it. Please show where it is written then. Mentioning that somebody has been featured in a newspaper article (La Gazzetta dello Sport) is trivial and in my opinion not worth mentioning in an wikipedia article. So you are trying to tell me now that you kept reverting the article because I used BBL instead of the sponsor's name. In German media it is common to leave out the sponsor's name, so that's ok. Zamekrizeni (talk) 17:37, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Than I will add the Italian article just as a source, without special mention.
In German media they always use EasyCredit BBL. B1958B (talk) 17:52, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted your edit because the mentioned source (https://www.championsleague.basketball/20-21/game/0704/Brose-Bamberg-Casademont-Zaragoza#%7Ctab=boxscore) does not show that he is still the only coach undefeated in the first group stage (6-0) of the Basketball Champions League and set the record for most made 3s in a single game. It shows in the boxscore that the team indeed hit 21 threes, but there is not mentioned that it's a record and that he is the only coach undefeated in the first group stage. Zamekrizeni (talk) 17:45, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Than on German one: where is the proof that he is brother of 'Thomas' ? I also can't find this. B1958B (talk) 17:53, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you have comments to make on the German version, please leave them on the respective talk page in the German wikipedia. Here it's about the English version Zamekrizeni (talk) 17:55, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But you all delete them there :) That's what you did today with all the changes I made on all those pages. No clue what your problem was there. B1958B (talk) 17:58, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
can i please ask what the actual issue based on the edits nd why both of you are having an issue? Tdshe/her 18:00, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You wrote: "In German media they always use EasyCredit BBL." That is not true. Let me give you an example which was published yesterday by one of the leading German media Tagesschau: https://www.tagesschau.de/sport/sportschau/sportschau-story-61195.html Zamekrizeni (talk) 18:01, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
i may ask that you both keep this strictly to the English Wikipedia. they do things different in the German wiki and we would like to not be involved. Tdshe/her 18:03, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"But you all delete them there :) That's what you did today with all the changes I made on all those pages. No clue what your problem was there.": Well, you can look up the explanation in the history of each and every article. Zamekrizeni (talk) 18:03, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Partial block from Johan Roijakkers

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing Johan Roijakkers for a period of one week for violating the 3 revert rule. You two need to resolve the dispute on the article talk page. If at an impasse, use a dispute resolution request, like an WP:RFC or WP:RSN (WP:DRN not recommended). But you two cannot continue to flood the revision history by violating the 3RR bright line edit warring rule (by quite a bit as it happens). Ping me here if you have any question concerning this partial block (not on my talk page, please). Thank you. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  El_C 18:20, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oke I am sorry. I am basketball specialist, I work in this field as a pro. So I believe I know a lot about European, and specially about German / Dutch / Belgium basketball. B1958B (talk) 18:28, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
B1958B, you can still edit the article talk page, just not the main article for a week. So please use that time wisely by following the suggestions and links I provided. You can also try for a 3rd opinion, to at least get a sense of what single uninvolved reviewer thinks. Good luck. El_C 18:40, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oke all good, no problem. I don't need a 3rd opinion, I am sure you know what you are doing ! Have a good day ! B1958B (talk) 19:06, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
