Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Information icon Hello, BIC 1983. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. MrsSnoozyTurtle 10:42, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

With regard to the edits, I feel there is scope to flag/discuss the author's latest book on the Indian parliament in the description which has been extensively discussed in high-end platforms in India and abroad (Jaipur Literary festival, Indian International Centre, Uchicago Centre, Harvard University, Kings College). Other wikipedia articles about Indian political scientists tend to follow this format. The material added previously was well-sourced/referenced and further ones can be added. Hello BIC 1983. That might be the case, but first could you please state whether you have any connection to Mr Sen? Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 22:42, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, but I have attended one of his lectures/book events previously. BIC 1983 (talk) 06:17, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for clarifying. I don't think there's any issue with that. MrsSnoozyTurtle 08:25, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
sure, can some of my edits be restored in that case? I feel they somewhat resolve the notability issue flagged by you as well. Particularly the author's book reviews/interviews in newspapers :) Or I could add in some other references if thats okay with you! BIC 1983 (talk) 11:10, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Qaei. I noticed that you recently removed content from India national football team without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Qaei 12:16, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I must have removed it by mistake, I was looking to add a book for the further reading section/ Is that retained? BIC 1983 (talk) 16:50, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
