Wiki assignment week 5,
I will choose the topic of Albugo candida, as the link 1 posted below last week. For this article, I will improve existing article.
I will try to answer the following questions:
a. The history of Albugo candida;
b. The genetics of Albugo candida;
c. The relationship between Albugo candida and other species in the family;
d. How the Albugo candida cause white blister rust?
In order to get the above information, I will search the NCBI database.

[edit]Bing, you have done a great job researching your topic here, as well as citing your sources in the body of your article addition. Your writing is also clear in most places, and Ryan has done a good job pointing out some places where writing clarity could be improved. One additional suggestion would be in the second line per "Oomycete" - is this a type of slime mold (i.e, fungus-like Protista)? If so, it would be helpful to state that here. Also, first paragraph, "condign" - is this spelled correctly? Along similar lines, you do use many very technical terms in your article. It would be helpful to link these terms to their respective Wikipedia pages, when they exist. Also, "effector-triggered immunity," 2nd paragraph - it would be helpful if you explained what this means in greater depth.
I also agree with Ryan that it would help overall article clarity if you had sub-sections in this work. Check out the Wikipedia Species Articles handout via Bb for suggested sub-sections. Also, if you had a Table of Contents at the start of your article that refers the reader to all of the sub-section titles, this would be helpful. In terms of your initial Leader section for this article, I suggest keeping it concise.
Last, you do need a bit more depth here. I suggest either adding depth by a) explaining the information that you have in a bit more depth - what do some of these technical terms mean? Is there a way to make your article more reader-friendly and readily understandable by the general public? Or, b) add some reliable web-based sources to allow you to add more general descriptive information about this "fungus". Rhirshorn (talk) 23:11, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
