Notability

[edit]

A five a side team in the Bromborough Tuesday league stands more chance of an article here than I do of becoming Pope, but not by much. (Yes, I do know Bromborough - my first school was just up the road in Prenton...) Please see WP:GROUP about notability, and WP:RS about reliable independent sources (needed to prove it). We do have some unlikely sounding articles - there's one about a bus shelter on a Scottish island, for instance - but I'm afraid you stand no chance. Also, whatever goes on behind the scenes here, articles have to be serious and factual. Boring, even... On Facebook etc, you can post what you want (subject to legal restrictions sometimes), but not here. I do like the name, though, and even though I should block this account from editing under our user name policy (representing an organisation), I'm not going to. Someone else might, but don't blame me. Peridon (talk) 11:33, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
