Okay, let me make this clear.
The article on Ballyneety is fine... mostly. The last section, which I have removed and which you have re-inserted, is not very good. It does not benefit the article to mention that there was once an old woman in Ballyneety who claimed to have been a Romanoff princess, for instance.
It does not benefit the article to contain any of those statements in the last section. It makes Ballyneety seem foolish. DS (talk) 05:20, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
The miscellaneous section is as valuable to the article as all the other sections. I agree that the tidbits contained in it may make Ballyneety seem foolish. However, foolish things have happened in Ballyneety, as elsewhere.
- There are sections of the article that were transparently a hoax. Since this means we can't trust the rest it has been deleted.©Geni 19:23, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
I would appreciate if you would put back up the Ballyneety, County Limerick page which you deleted today. I spent quite a while creating it. It was not a hoax. As I told DragonflySixtyseven, the sections which you consider ridiculous are in fact true. The references are there if you want to check them. Thanks.
- Nice try. Worldcat has never heard of Francois Decár.©Geni 21:25, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
- No idea if the "Romanoff princess" stuff is correct but Ballyneety does exist - it is a village in County Limerick. Sarah777 (talk) 19:40, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
