Sandbox

[edit]

Hi there, though I know you meant well, your edit here at List of Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu episodes resulted in a broken season 5 table that bled across the rest of the page. Tables can be difficult, I have trouble with them myself. However, if you're going to be making edits like these you can't leave a problematic edit like that in a live article. Your best bet is to use your sandbox, where you can practice editing to your heart's content without affecting a live article, then, once you've gotten your edit into suitable shape, you can copy the content over to the live article. Click "Sandbox" at the top right of your screen next to your name, or click here: User:BananaMan555/sandbox. I'd also encourage you to get into the habit of clicking "Show preview" before saving your edits so you can be sure they make sense and look the way you want them to look. The Show preview button can be found here:

Hope that helps. Good luck, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:28, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please double-check your edits

[edit]

Again, you've left the S5 episode template in a broken state in this edit. You have forgotten to close the {{Episode list}} template with two braces. Please double-check your work before committing the changes to the article. I have reverted your edit. If you want to try resubmitting the content, please do so without removing parameter labels and please be sure the table is complete. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:54, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Problematic prose

[edit]

I don't mean to get on your case, however this recent edit you made at List of Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu episodes is problematic. You really need to pay more attention to grammar and capitalization, and you should try to explain the episode so that people who are unfamiliar with the series, like myself, can understand what is going on. "The ninja go stixs to get the scroll of airjitzu" What does this mean? Anyhow, please improve your attention to detail, otherwise you will find that your hard work gets reverted quickly. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:40, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Addendum your edit here was not an improvement. Should it be assumed that stix is a person, or a place? Either way, shouldn't that be clarified and maybe capitalized? If English is not your primary language, you might consider posting an edit request on the article's talk page to request help from other editors. Adding problematic content in a live article can be considered disruptive, especially if you do nothing differently to try to improve it. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:02, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

stop Please pay attention to the quality of the content you are submitting and please preview your edits before saving them. In this edit, although you have finally clarified what "Stix" is, you didn't capitalize it (it is a proper noun), you also didn't capitalize "Ninjago", which is another proper noun, you capitalized "Summon" for some reason, and there were other general grammar mistakes, like the omission of commas, and the problematic syntax in this sentence: "On the way there they are attacked by a ghost that Morro Summoned the ninja end up defeating him. If English is not your primary language, you might consider posting edit requests on the talk page as we expect content to be written in proper encyclopedic tone. If you submit more problematic content like this, you may wind up with your editing privileges interrupted. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:14, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Again, the prose you've submitted is problematic.

The ninja arrive at stiix and go to get the scroll from Ronin. The ninja look around in Ronins house and find that he had stool the blade cup and other things from them. Finally Ronin shows up and the ninja ask for the scroll, Ronin lies and says he doesn't have it so the ninja leave. Meanwhile sensei Wu starts training Nya but she has a tough time unlocking her power. Morro summones another ghost and they go to get the scroll from Ronin. The ninja soon come and find Morro with the scroll Ronin gives the ninja a weapon called the aeroblades which can destroy ghosts. Ronin end up escaping on a vehicle called Ronin R.E.X. Kai ends up going after Morro To get the scroll, Morro escapes using airjitzu.

There are too many misspellings, miscapitalizations, etc. here. Is "stool" supposed to be "stole"? Is "Ronins" possessive? And Stiix is a person, correct? So the characters don't arrive at him, they arrive at his place, or something similar? Please, double-check your contributions. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:53, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
