Note that according to WP:RUSUKR as a new user you may not edit articles or parts of the articles related to Russian-Ukrainian conflict broadly construed. None of the two edits you actually made was allowed.--Ymblanter (talk) 21:21, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please tell me how exactly it is related to the current war? I mentioned events of 1885 that are very well known and are not ambiguous. Baranowskawira (talk) 21:36, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did not say "war", I said conflict. Ukrainian propaganda (which you apparently support) considers Delaunay Ukrainian, whereas Russian propaganda considers her Russian. This is a conflict, and there is a good reason why new users may not make such edits. In addition, your edit stated in Wikipedia voice that Odesa was part of Ukraine occupied by the Russian Empire. This may well align with Ukrainian propaganda, but this is in no way a mainstream opinion among historians. Stating this in Wikipedia voice is not acceptable, and people have been blocked and topic-banned for such behavior. Ymblanter (talk) 22:11, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see. That's pity that you said "conflict" instead of "war".
Would you mind sharing with me some sources of the opinions of known historians about that time period? I'd love to know more about it from reliable sources to avoid misunderstanding in the future. 2800:40:2F:429:D597:F1DF:DE14:A620 (talk) 22:17, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We all agree that this artist lived most of her life in France. Even in French wiki page they acknowledge that she was Ukrainian. Maybe it would be fair to keep this change? Baranowskawira (talk) 22:26, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me, didn't the previous message correctly
Repeating:

I am sorry but I do not think we should discuss the issue in some detail here. If you are still talking about Sonia Delaunay, you can start discussion at the talk page of the article. Have in mind however that there is a good reason why dozens of edits similar to what you have done get reverted. If we are talking about smth else, you would probably need to specify but again a better place would be talk pages or sometimes Wikipedia Talk:WikiProject Ukraine as they may attract more people than this page.
