Listen, is there a chance to have my article published, or are there another 387 things that need to be clarified? If yes, please let me know so I can do this beforehand. This is starting to get annoying, especially considering what other articles are published. "While you were busy deleting my reply": I could say I was trying to answer you while you were continuing to publish confidential information on a public website, but being nice never hurt anyone. I don't know about 387 things; did you look at this one link, Wikipedia:Your first article? (As an aside, I've written a couple of hundred articles and did not run into those problems.) Try to avoid stuff like this: "The GTV MkII package added a rear parcel shelf with loudspeakers, an engine lid lock and dual reverse lights. This package cost $566.85." That's appropriate for a brochure or for Ebay, not for an encyclopedia. The more your article looks encyclopedic, the better its chances of survival. Moreover, your article only referred to one thing that could be called a reliable source, even while Google Books produces a couple of hits that would have helped with the composition of an encyclopedic article. I don't know what you sent off to the permissions department, and I don't know if it's worth citing in a new version of the article. I would suggest you look for things that pass muster with WP:RS, our guideline for reliable sources. Thank you and good luck. Drmies (talk)

So the books by Keith Seume, who is considered one of the top authorities of the history of the aircooled Volkswagen culture is not a reliable source? oldscool.org isn't a reliable source? I think you should read those books and articles before you slag them off as not reliable. On the other hand, this article: EMPI_Imp meets your standards.
- Is that the author of the one book you cited? I didn't see a specific page reference or what was sourced by it. What I did see was a lot of information that would be appropriate somewhere else. Seriously, are you claiming that this website is a reliable source? It has no content, except for a video of an old guy with makeup on who doesn't appear to speak English. Have a look at WP:RS, please. As for the other EMPI: no, I do not consider that to be OK. It's unsourced, but at least it is written in a neutral style. And see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. I clearly mentioned Keith Seume as being the author of one book, stated the publisher and the ISBN number, I did the same thing with two other books I cited as references, and the website I was referencing is http://oldeskool.org/empi.html

I fail to see where my article isn't neutral. The prices I stated are 1966 prices and were only stated to bring the cost of the upgrade packages into perspective with the cost of a new Beetle back then. I have written an article on Wikipedia before, but without having my sources and intentions questioned.
