Removing content from Karren Brady[edit]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Karren Brady, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Request reason:

I work as the Online Development Officer for Birmingham City Football Club. I am situated in the Marketing department, this is the reason for my username and it is not intended to spam any other party on this site. I only intend to monitor any information that relates to Birmingham City football club and its employees. I would like to find out why the user "Woody" is allowed to upload false images of Karren Brady, the images have been editted to enhance her nose and this is not acceptable due to it being a false depiction of her actual identity and it is clearly a case of someone wanting to tarnish her reputation and it is also seen as an attack on Birmingham City Football Club as it has been uploaded by someone who is a fan of a rival club, Aston Villa, please let me know what i can do to counter this or take it to someone directly at Wikipedia to prohibit this happening in future.

Request reason:

Having seen the reason from sandstein i would like to point out that this request has been made by Karren Brady. I am a direct employee of Karren and this is therefore not an action being carried out on behalf of. It is an action being carried out through as a directive of the person this page represents. My request to be unblocked request is also one that is necessary as i am a direct employee of Birmingham City Football Club and i monitor all online elements of the club. My username which includes the word marketing is made up solely of my club and department and has no intent to spam any other pages or persons on this site. This is a separate request to that of the image removal and if the username needs to be changed to something different then i am open to that. The most important thing here is that true information is shown within the wiki so it provides users with correct information and is a reliable reference tool. By having such an edited image of Karren within her page then this does fail to live to that standard and website vision. Please respond to this issue or again, provide me with suitable contact details of a person i can have direct conversation with regarding this issue.

Whatever your intentions with this account, it needs to be representative of an individual and not a business or organization - even if it is only your account, as it seems from your comment above, it still appears to represent a group, which falls afoul of the username policy. I note, also, that the image in question has been deleted, as noted here, so - quite separate from any issues surrounding your username - your concerns were addressed.

You'll want to have a look at our conflict of interest policy. I appreciate that you're in a unique position to correct information about BCFC, but the information you provide would need to be confirmed elsewhere, as we require reliable sources for all information on the project. There is a means, via the OTRS system, for your organization to bring inaccuracies or errors to the attention of the project, so further problems can be addressed. If you, as an individual, which to request an unblock for the purpose of changing your username to one that complies with policy, we can discuss that. I would like to now change my username in order to comply with the wiki policy, as previously stated, i am open to doing that if it means i am able to make the suitable amends to ensure that all Birmingham City FC information and employees of the club have correct information and/or images. I have replied to your e-mail. Please remember that you cannot edit Wikipedia as a marketing machine. This is in violation of our conflict of interest policies and as such, could get you blocked under the new username.
