Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Belov! I am 69dressings and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Your edits
[edit]If you are doing substantial work on an article you should let other users know by using the {{inuse}} tag. It is not acceptable to revert someone just because you're doing something at the same time. "If you do not want your writing to be edited, used, and redistributed at will, then do not submit it here" applies equally to all users, and it does not mean you can do as you please.
I have also revoved the {{move to commons}} tags from your two images. Wikimedia Commons is a repository of free media, and these images should not be considered as candidates to be moved there while their copyright status is disputed. PC78 (talk) 02:28, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Son Dam Bi appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. The intros sound like PR releases NPeeerbvsesz (Push) 11:09, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Son Dambi
[edit]Hi. I was wondering whether you actually understand why I revert your edits to Son Dambi and I came to ask why you persistently are adding fan commentary and Non NPOV comments onto the above named article. Please read WP:NPOV and WP:OWN articles to understand where you might be going wrong. Hopefully you might understand that Wikipedia is not a fansite yet it is actually and encyclopaedia where comments such as "her dancing has been so impressive" and "Son Dam Bi leaves a deep impression with her husky voice, which matches perfectly with the track’s strong beat and melody" do not really belong. - Fan no I am not and I re-edited what I added. I don't quite understand what NPOV means? I looked it up and the definition says a point of view that everyone shares is that correct? Belov 11:55, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- Well when i say Non NPOV, it means that it is 'not of a neutral point of view', thus it contains bias. Such as saying "Son Dam Bi leaves a deep impression with her husky voice, which matches perfectly with the track’s strong beat and melody", that may be your opinion however not everybody may share that view. Thus it is not neutral. The comment itself is not necessary either, since it has nothing to do with Son Dambi's career, and is something only a fan may be interested in. I hope that makes it slightly clearer. If you wish you can read the Wikipedia rules article on NPOV by clicking here. NPeeerbvsesz (Push) 12:06, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
