Proposed deletion of Jacksonville, Wyoming

[edit]

The deletion of an article you created, Jacksonville, Wyoming, has been proposed for the following reason:

Is this small town really worthy of its own page? Couldn't this info be covered in the county's page?

You are welcome to improve the article to meet Wikipedia's quality standards and remove the deletion notice from the article. You may also remove the notice if you disagree with the deletion, though in such cases, further discussion may take place at Articles for deletion, and the article may still be deleted if there is a consensus to do so.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy. You may wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Please review those guidelines, as well as WP:Verifiability and WP:Reliable sources, as soon as possible. The articles on Jacksonville and Gold City, Wyoming are both subject to nomination for deletion for failing to provide any sources as well as failing to show that the communities are notable. Also, please keep the maintenance templates, such as {{Uncategorized}}, in place in the articles until the underlying problems are fixed. The tags serve to draw in additional help to fix the problems; removing them may be considered disruptive. —C.Fred (talk) 18:58, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates

[edit]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Woodfield (subdivision), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 19:24, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Woodfield (subdivision), you may be blocked from editing. —C.Fred (talk) 20:03, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Woodfield (subdivision), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. —C.Fred (talk) 23:15, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
