Can you please add your thoughts to discussion on the Talk page re the end of the fire season? I am never comfortable taking on my perennial stalker alone. HiLo48 (talk) 07:46, 4 March 2020 (UTC)

I apologise Bidgee. I tried to keep your page sane, but some interference from elsewhere seems to have made a real mess of this. I give up. HiLo48 (talk) 09:56, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Bidgee_reported_by_User:Skyring_(Result:_) regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. EVC removed

Bidgee, you have been inappropriately using the Wikipedia:Event coordinator permission, specifically usage standard #1 (Wikipedia:Event_coordinator#Usage_standards). As such this access has been removed from your account. If you are using the Programs & Events Dashboard to manage an event, you will still be able to create accounts that way. — xaosflux Talk 02:31, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

The tone of that came out a bit harsher then I was going for - this was meant to be more informative then "punitive" and I didn't start with trying to have a back and forth discussion since you have a wikibreak notice. If you need this again you may request it at WP:PERM. Please be sure to re-read the usage standards first, and note that along with any future request. We are looking in to ways to make the outreach dashboard do the temporary +confirmed step all at once to help avoid these kind of issues in the future as well, but it is not ready yet. Thank you, — xaosflux Talk 02:45, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
So rather than coming to my talk page asking "did you realise the accounts during an event were given 'confirmed' for x period". FYI, when I gave the permissions it was set as temporary for 5 days and probably made a mistake when using "tab". The above comment and removal as if I deliberately did it. As far as I'm concerned, I will no longer be undertaking any Wikipedia related events and outreach if this is the way you treat long established contributors. Bidgee (talk) 03:31, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
You're so inconsistent. It is like you have an axe to grind and I haven't got a clue as to why. Bidgee (talk) 03:51, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
In comparing with that other user, you did not use the required expiration ever, and continued to do so, while the other user had a lapse, and corrected. I don't think you were deliberately violating the guidelines, but that you have been careless with the toolset, and also your "may not respond swiftly" notice above suggested you were not going to be around to have a discussion. As I noted above, you are not permanently barred from doing this again if you want to and if you have a request at PERM in the near future I won't decline it - deferring to another to process the request. — xaosflux Talk 12:46, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

A toast sandwich for you!

Good work Bidgee, keep up your strength Carrolquadrio (talk) 00:19, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

these guys may be part of your work

the referencing is so weird I have had problem fixing it - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Scotts_Peak&action=history it would be great if you can either work it out or show them the proper way - thanks JarrahTree 13:07, 5 April 2020 (UTC)

Will chase this up. Bidgee (talk) 09:58, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
