A valid reason was given in the edit summary. WP is not a WP:RESUME or a place for WP:PROMO, and you blanked a substantial amount of sourced text.[1] Once your edit gets reverted, you should take any issues you may have to the article's Talk page (see WP:BRD, WP:TPG)).
