January 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Mars Storm Rucker, from its old location at User:Blackcake2000/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Sam Sailor 20:12, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Mars Storm Rucker has been accepted[edit]

Mars Storm Rucker, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. Most new articles start out as Stub-Class or Start-Class and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

edit summaries[edit]

Please make your edit summaries more descriptive. Come on now, it does take a few seconds to actually provide a meaningful edit summary, but it's "forever" (or until the article is deleted) and it's actually kind of offensive to make no meaningful effort to provide a useful edit summary. Thank you. Fabrickator (talk) 17:55, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for checking me on this man. Will do better! Blackcake2000 (talk) 23:19, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't mean to say that leaving summaries is a bad idea, but Fabrickator has exaggerated a bit with regards to the importance of leaving a detailed summary. Plenty of experienced editors use highly abbreviated edit summaries in their work, and there is no requirement to leave one. I only say that because I noticed this edit, where the edit summary probably took more time to create than the actual edit. Again, leaving a detailed summary is generally good, harms nobody, and should always be done for very large edits, but for a minor edit like this it's not strictly necessary. Cheers, Mach61 (talk) 23:39, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
