Sock puppetry[edit]
Logging out to edit as an anonymous IP, as you appear to have done in this edit, is considered a form of sock puppetry, and will get you blocked. While this username is likely to be blocked anyway, continuing to edit while logged out will likely lead administrators to doubt your good faith, and disallow any requested name change.
