Moral of Tower of Babel

The "Tower of Babel" was human's attempts to become other than what they are meant to be as human beings. Symbolism - Tower is symbolic of sin. To some, it shows how false pride can lead to misunderstanding and lack of communication between people and among nations. From this viewpoint, God's confusing of speech in this story is a symbolic negative consequence excessive pride. A related example of excessive pride in our day would be making science and technology our gods. To others, this story demonstrates the individual uniqueness which god originally intended people to develop, as opposed to everyone trying to be the same. From this viewpoint, the confusion of speech and scattering merely reverses a harmful conformity and brings back the human diversity which God intended all along.

 The point of Tower of Babel is that's people should not try to become something other than what God intended us to be. When we try to become superior to God and others, people only end up distancing and isolating ourselves.
   Also when we (human being) try to become exactly like everyone else, or insist that they (others) should be just like us., we likewise separate ourselves from our real human identities.
