Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Boytchev, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Oggy Boytchev, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

before the question. Again, welcome! Wham2001 (talk) 13:09, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
Hello, thanks for getting in touch. I am trying to add a new published book to my page. But unfortunately, the page tells me that the citation was empty. What am I doing wrong> Boytchev (talk) 13:17, 23 July 2023 (UTC)This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. - I've tidied up the Wikitext and made some further edits to the article; the empty reference issue should now be fixed. I think that, since you are the article subject, you shouldn't be editing it yourself – see the Wikipedia guideline on editing with a conflict of interest and in particular the guideline on autobiographical editing. If you want updates to be made to the article you can make edit requests at the article talk page – they will then be assessed by an independent, experienced editor and implemented if appropriate. - Thank you. It looks better but still says 'Citation needed' on the book publications. What can I provide to the article page to prove the publications of the books? Thanks Boytchev (talk) 13:29, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- A book review in a reliable source such as a national newspaper, ideally. If the books haven't yet attracted interest from third parties then they probably don't belong in the article (the idea is that Wikipedia articles should be written based on what third-party sources have said about the subject). Someone under the nickname of Fliobob is consistently defacing my biography page, Oggy Boytchev. If Fliobob would like to talk to me directly or dispute any of the facts in my biography, I am happy to begin a discussion. I think vandalizing other people's profiles is a soul-destroying experience. Fliobob, come out of hiding and face me! The page is not self-promotion as I do not derive any financial benefits from it. It's a reflection of a lifetime spent in front-line journalism.Boytchev (talk) 15:51, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
'Fliobob' continues to vandalize my biography. I admire his/her energy. It must take a lot of determination to go through people's pages and make random vicious remarks.
