Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Devokewater 17:44, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Essential reading[edit]

Hello there. You should read WP:SHORTDESC and WP:OVERLINK before editing any further short descriptions or add more internal links. Canterbury Tail talk 19:57, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's clear that you haven't read and followed the above links and are continuing to add and amend short descriptions against WP:SHORTDESC. Please stop this, you are causing work for other people to clear up. Canterbury Tail talk 13:04, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editing[edit]

You have been warned several times about your edits against WP:SHORTDESC but you still ignore the comments and reverts and are not abiding by the style. You are adding short descriptions that are too long, are unnecessary and it's clear you haven't read anything that's been posted to you. At this point that is considered deliberate disruption so this is a warning. If you continue to make edits in violation of WP:SHORTDESC, and your other disruptive editing (labelling things as grammar fixes etc) you will be blocked from editing. Canterbury Tail talk 14:40, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Canterbury Tail talk 14:40, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Because you are continuing to ignore what is being said to you and instead disrupt against the guidelines pointed out to you and refuse to listen.

Slow burn edit warring and misleading edit summaries[edit]

Can you explain how this edit and this one is fixing grammar? Making false or deliberately misleading edit summaries can be considered disruptive editing. Additionally you are continually edit warring over several pages by repeatedly reinserting the same information, unsourced and OR, over a long period of time.

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Mia Wasikowska shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Blocked[edit]

Despite being warning and told that it is not okay to make misleading edit summaries, you continue to label your edits as "fixed grammar" or some variant. This tells me that you [[WP:IDHT|are ignoring] the above warnings and comments and may even be attempting to avoid scrutiny. You are welcome to resume editing once your block expires, however if you continue to insist on making edits against the spirit of WP:SHORTDESC, ignore the warnings above and make deliberately misleading edit summaries, you will be blocked again.
