[edit]- Welcome to Wikipedia. I reverted some of your changes to Chanda Prescod-Weinstein in part, because they reintroduced existing policy violations such as WP:BLPSPS, which states: Never use self-published sources—including but not limited to books, zines, websites, blogs, and social network posts—as sources of material about a living person, unless written or published by the subject of the article. And even using material written by the subject needs to be treated carefully and sparingly, per WP:ABOUTSELF and WP:PSTS. Per the policies of neutral point of view and no original research (see especially WP:PSTS), Wikipedia articles should be based predominantly on coverage in reliable secondary sources, and not resemble promotional showcases of all possible info or otherwise mundane events like public speaking or writing. In biographies, primary sources (e.g. those written by a subject), should be given relatively little to no weight, especially if few or no other reliable, third party sources have commented on them. Lastly, Wikipedia is not for everything: we don't include facts merely because they are true. If you have detailed objections to my reversions, please feel free to raise them on Talk:Chanda Prescod-Weinstein, and the community of editors can hopefully reach consensus on how to best structure the article. Cheers, --Animalparty! (talk) 02:20, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
